ARTIMOREAN MEANS MORE ART
Artimorean started in 2015 as a humble coloring book company with one simple goal - seek out coloring books that had previously been thought lost to time, return them to their former glory, and publish them under our umbrella.
Lucky for us, it was a success! It wasn't long before we had a dozen titles under our belt - Classics from the 1920s to the 1940s, like "The Merry Christmas Coloring Book," "The Peter Rabbit Easter Bunny Coloring Book for Kids," and "In the Candy Cane House," were instant hits.
Soon after, we found ourselves establishing our first office in 2017. Our collection grew to over 20 books, which allowed us to hire our first few employees! This was our first official team of three Book Scouts, as well as two restoration experts for our Vintage Book Restoration Team.
In 2020, we began to publish our own original books, including taking on new authors like J.R. Fleming, Angela Noseweasel, and more recently, Abraxas Abaralabrabraha.
Unfortunately, in 2022, we suffered a series of warehouse fires and office break-ins that caused serious setbacks.
Now, in 2024, we are working on new relationships with artist collectives, such as our partnership with Pretendo Entertainment System and Roganville Farms.
We are looking forward to the new challenges that 2025 bring.
Our Team
-
Angela Noseweasel
Angela is an accomplished translator, specializing in Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Esperanto, Syril, Barut, Nineji-ut, Calcetine, multiple Ancient Languages, and Indus. She has been a lecturer, writer, and translation researcher for over twelve years. For those concerned, she is healing well after the alligator incident. The doctor says that her nose will be fully intact when they take off the bandages in March.
-
Craig Trahan
Craig is our graphic design, photography, and marketing expert. Craig started working on our coloring books in 2017 and is now in charge of our internal operations. He thinks his profile photo is pretty slick, but we all can't help but notice how unnecessarily dramatic it is. I mean, just take a selfie, man!
-
Eric King
Eric is our creative director and fearless leader. Artimorean is his vision and brainchild. He is a failed writer and comic book creator who recently converted to a new religion. He is also responsible for making the coffee and feeding the office cat.
-
Abignail Poplar
Abignail is an enthusiastic addition to our new internship program! She is a recent Rutgers graduate in investigative journalism who loves to be outside, whether hiking, kayaking, or just laying in the grass. She got to put her foraging and survival skills to the test last March when she was lost for six days in Big Bend National Park.
